Assume the user scans fast. Your headline must be understood instantly.
Use short benefit-led phrases and avoid long sentences.
If a slide has two promises, the user remembers none.
Pair the promise with one supporting proof element (e.g., a clear UI moment).
If you say “Track” on slide 1, don’t say “Monitor” on slide 2 for the same concept.
Consistency increases comprehension and trust.
Use them sparingly. They can add scanning anchors, but they also increase noise if overused.
Short enough to read comfortably in small previews. If you need two lines, your message is probably too complex.
